The Fear of the Lord
Scripture:
“The fear of the Lord leads to life, then one rests content, untouched by trouble.” – Proverbs 19:23
Encouragement:
Every one of us has a weapon the enemy cannot defeat. The fear of the Lord. Putting on the fear of the Lord every day is like your superpower against the enemy.
The promises of God are so powerful and sweet. When you have a reverential fear of the Lord, you honor who He is as God. You believe He is the mighty God of your life and the universe. When you know this, you have life and you have confidence. You realize you are not in control but that He is.
When you know this today, my friend, you can rest content in your life and the enemy can’t touch you. Why? Because the God of all things is in charge and has your back. So put the enemy on the run today by fearing the Lord.
Prayer for Today:
Lord, thank you for your love for me and for resting content in my life. Thank you, that the fear of the Lord puts the enemy on the run and makes me untouchable. Thank you for this promise of protection, in Jesus' name. Amen.
